Hi, I'm Ben. I’m a graphic designer specialising in branding, visual identity, editorial layout, digital static content, and printed communications with over eight years of professional experience, driven by a passion for bold ideas, cultural curiosity, and the power of visual storytelling. Whether crafting distinctive brand worlds, designing beautiful printed matter, or shaping digital content with clarity and style, my work is rooted in strong conceptual thinking, historical design, sustainability, and global cultural perspectives.

My career began in earnest with the rebranding of Natasha Hodges Hair - my first commercial project and a milestone moment that still brings me pride every time I pass the salon’s distinctive signage. From there, I spent several years as Lead Designer at Alan Rogers Travel, where I oversaw the design and layout of annual guidebooks, crafted editorial layouts, and developed a distinctive visual voice for the brand. Alongside these achievements, I’ve pursued a wide variety of personal and conceptual projects that reflect my interests in the environment, identity, and the intersection of design and human behaviour.
Although I’m largely self-taught, my foundation was laid at Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, where I studied fashion history, media, and business - gaining invaluable insight into the creative industries and the editorial process. I continue to sharpen my skills through short courses in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, and remain open to new tools, especially in the realm of motion design.

Inspired by mid-century design and contemporary creative trends, I often draw from archives of old ephemera, global visual culture, and the quiet confidence of a well-considered typographic system. My work is thoughtful yet inventive, often exploring how design can not only communicate but also advocate - particularly around causes like sustainability, mental wellbeing, and accessibility.

Currently based in the UK, I am seeking new full-time opportunities - ideally remote or hybrid - while continuing to freelance for clients who share a passion for purpose-driven, beautiful design.
